Price is on hold. does not reflect refit currently
I have owned this boat for a long time. I have been hesitant to sell, as refitting will be done this summer.
This is a worthy cruiser especially if you understand the pluses about multihulls. I plan on perhaps my last adventure sailing down the coast this year. Hope to raise funds to make all sails/trim and mainsail boom furled, lines and winches near the helm.cockpit controlled and weather protection around .
As I'm approaching mid seventies, decided on a slight pause before listed price appears again. I'm thinking of upgrading more.
This is one of the many reasons why this tri is unique
This design is best used for cruising. The setup is ideal for small crew. The advantage of a center cockpit with the steering wheel up forward {see photos}and experiencing that view is like no other boat except Jim Brown Searunners and Chris White's Atlantic 42.
Cold molded monocoque constant camber planning from Jim Brown's and John Marple designer of the CC40. There are some of the current videos found on you tube under "CC40 and Marples" . Although my boat was not professionally built, it has proven it's seaworthiness in every situation I was presented with over 50,000 miles. I would like to highlight some of the advantages of this boat:
Other info:
Twin Yamaha Outboards 25 replace diesel 30HP Perkins
Kick-up Rudder instead of fixed skeg hung
Seaworthy Several offshore voyages with more to come
Standing rigging is oversized
Most recent survey in the nineties

- wood epoxy constant camber hulls – 5 diagonal layers of vertical grain kaya inside and outside
- center cockpit with wheel steering forward for excellent vision & dodger for weather protection
- solid wing decks for extra storage and high under wing clearance
- spacious interior of this size with above average performance and great live aboard ability
